...and, from Jeff's stack trace, at least *some* rows in the packet list are
redrawn - or, at least, recomputed, even if GTK+ eventually decides it doesn't
need to redraw anything - when you're adding a tab to the byte view.
I.e., it does not appear to be easy to enumerate all the cases where
gtk_tree_view_column_cell_set_cell_data() will be called...
...and, even if we *do* have a complete list for GTK+ x.y, that might change in
GTK+ x.{y+1} or GTK+ {x.1).0.
