More often than not, the Network Instruments Observer files that are captured
on GigaStors fail to be read by Wireshark or any of its command line brethren.
The reads fail with the specific error message, "Observer: bad record: Invalid
magic number 0x00000000", where the reported magic number is most commonly
zero, but has been observed [sic] as other values too.
