Overview:
Unable to decode IBM's Websphere MQ traffic. It is listed as "[Malformed
Packet: MQ]".
Steps to reproduce:
- Open the attached sample file mq-sample.cap.
- Select "Decode As" and select TCP 21414 port (or "both") as MQ.
Actual Results:
MQ traffic is listed in the 'Packet Details' as:
"[Malformed Packet: MQ]
Expert Info (Error/Malformed): Malformed Packet (Exception occurred)".
Additional Builds and Platforms:
I was able to reproduce this issue with Wireshark version 0.99.8 (SVN Rev
24492) on Windows XP.
Additional Information:
The MQ traffic was captured using Sniffer Pro.
