           Summary: GLib-CRITICAL ** Message on Wireshark 1.2.6
           Product: Wireshark
           Version: 1.2.6
          Platform: x86-64
        OS/Version: Red Hat
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: Low
         Component: Wireshark
        AssignedTo: wireshark-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
        ReportedBy: shailurtm2001@xxxxxxxxx

Build Information:
Compiled with GTK+ 2.10.4, with GLib 2.12.3, with libpcap 1.0.0, with libz
1.2.3, without POSIX capabilities, with libpcre 6.6, with SMI 0.4.5, without
c-ares, without ADNS, without Lua, with GnuTLS 1.4.1, with Gcrypt 1.2.4, with
MIT Kerberos, without GeoIP, without PortAudio, without AirPcap.

Running on Linux 2.6.18-128.7.1.el5, with libpcap version 1.0.0, GnuTLS 1.4.1,
Gcrypt 1.2.4.

Built using gcc 4.1.2 20080704 (Red Hat 4.1.2-44)
--
On CentOS 5.3, x86_64

ssh from remote host: ssh -Y ip_address
then open wireshark

when click on interface list got this message

GLib-CRITICAL **: g_hash_table_lookup: assertion `hash_table != NULL' failed

However, wireshark seem to work fine, can capture traffic, saves/open file etc.

Only happens if you click interface through interface list i.e if you select
interface through ----> Capture ----> interface it works fine.

the GLib-CRITICAL message comes up every time you select interface from
interface list. If use wireshark 1.2.5 that works fine only happens with 1.2.6
