Hello,
Is it necessary to trigger "Reprocessing" of packets when one is attempting to
open the Capture Interfaces or Capture Options dialogs?
When one has a "large" trace file open in Wireshark (where "large" implies that
applying a display filter to the current capture file may take more than a few
seconds to occur) and one opts to open the Capture | Interfaces or Capture |
Options dialog, a transient "Reprocessing: all packets" dialog appears. The
desired Capture dialog will not be displayed until the "Reprocessing: all
packets" has finished or is aborted by clicking on its "Stop" button.
