The radiotap website defines the rate field only in terms of 500 kbps
multiples, yet both FreeBSD and Linux set the high bit to 1 and the MCS in the
low 7 bits in case of 802.11n.
So, I believe that the captured data are correctly interpreted and the problem
lies at a lower level.
