What about a simple feature to "Ignore Packet (toggle)" in the packet list
popup menu, which marks the package to be ignored by all dissectors?
The package can be colored as "almost invisible" and only the frame data is
presented in the packet details.
This settings will not be saved with in the capture file, but this can be done
in "Save As", selecting a filter like "frame.num != packet-num-to-delete" and
save displayed packages.
