Thanks for your kind reply. However, it looks like the behavior of my Wireshark
is different from yours.

I directly click Wireshark icon to open it and it looks like Mac application
where it has its own jelly "red, yellow, green", which is under X11.

For my trial again, I did the same procedure as yours, i.e. (both with Edit ->
Copy and with the
Copy item in the context menu). But I can only paste the content in Wireshark
filter, but still not yet been able to paste in Terminal or any other Editor.

My capture file is for SIP protocol application. For example, I click to packet
description to "Call-ID" header and right click to select copy of
"Description", "FieldName" or "Value". It only has one layer and so it is valid
to copy it. But I can only paste such content in Wireshark filter.

Here when I mention Terminal, I am talking Mac Terminal application, instead of
X11 terminal. However, even when I try to open X11 Terminal "xterm", there is
none of any content can be pasted here. When I click Edit menu under X11, there
is no content to paste.

I believe there should be some sort of setting I missed. Please comment.
