I tried it, and was able to copy items (both with Edit -> Copy and with the
Copy item in the context menu) and paste them into Terminal with Command+V.

Note that if you select a line in the packet description, and type Control+C,
it doesn't copy anything - not even to the X11 clipboard - so you won't even be
able to paste it into the "filter" area.
