Those changes make TShark's logging code work similarly to Wireshark's logging
code (which I suspect was your intent), so I'd say that they do the right thing
and that TShark *should* be that noisy, just as Wireshark is.  The output goes
to the standard error, so it's not going to mess up, for example, TShark's
standard output if you're sending that to a file or pipe.

They've already uncovered one bug, bug 3822.
