I don't think that moving the table out of the binary is a good idea, but maybe
having a "const" startup and a dynamic runtime version of the table would be
OK?
There's always a few vendors using options not according to RFCs or they adhere
to drafts that never become RFCs. The idea behind this patch is to be able to
override the existing interpretation (all values are defined) of an option with
a "simple" existing type, so no complex type can't be handled that way. IMO
standard options should still be handled in the source file
