Yeap, I'm on it right now. I've got a program that I can put a CDP capture into
and send it back to the switch. I'm running through the tests as I write this,
trying to make it both work and not work predictably, and under what
conditions. As I said in a previous mail, my router is accepting the switch's
CDP packets with the odd length in them. Not quite sure why it'd do that if it
was incorrectly calculating them. And the switch sees the router as well. I'll
give you another update in about an hour. After that, I'll need to wait until
the morning to test again.
