As promised, here are two more captures. One from the same 2950-24 switch, but
from a different ethernet port, and another from an 871W router.

Running the latest stable release of wireshark both captures fail their CDP
checksum with odd length packets. Running wireshark with the patch attached to
this ticket produces a clean bill of health for the 871W router only.

This leads to the notion that the IOS in the C2950 switch is incorrectly
calculating the checksum. It validates correct checksums, but seems to be
incorrectly calculating checksums on outgoing packets. I will verify incorrect
CDP functionality this afternoon by running odd-length packets from the switch
to the router to see if it fails checksum validation.
