Yep, Gentoo is a good compiler stress-test distribution, but since some days
there are weekly built LiveCD w/ up-to-date packages available.

because I regularly make a (full/deep) update of all of my installed packages.

Made it and I can reproduce the problem with the current gentoo package too -
therefore probably a problem at my system ?
