I believe this particular problem has already been seen and fixed (although I
have NOT been able to identify the specific bug report).
With Wireshark 1.0.0 (released 29-Mar-2008)I could reproduce your problem.
But I could NOT reproduce your problem with Wireshark 1.0.1 (released
30-Jun-2008) nor with the the most recent version Wireshark 1.0.5 (released
10-Dec-2008).
I recommend that you upgrade to the most recent release (v1.0.5).
