Stig, I had started working on trying to clean up the display filter fields
some time ago, but it was a very tedious and boring task.  I managed to get
most of the dissectors from a-g cleaned up, but I gave up.  It's not a task
well-suited to manual inspection.  If someone smart can figure out a way to
write a script and parse through the various dissectors looking for duplicates,
mis-named fields, etc., that might make the task a lot easier to deal with ...
or at least to find out how many more potential problems are out there.

BTW: Here's one of the dissectors I looked at with a display filter field
