I am really, really missing the ability to better visualize the traffic in
Wireshark.
What I would like is to be able to replace the list of packets with a graph
which shows packets according to the time of their occurrence, with one line
per connection. Clicking on a packet would select it, just like in the current
list view.
I don't think I can emphasize enough just how badly I am missing this. I've
built my own external tools for this, but they don't have the rest of
Wireshark's abilties, e.g. live filtering or showing details of a packet. Let's
just say that if this were to be developed, I would use it daily.
