That's extremely unlikely to be what's affecting Wireshark, given that the
field it's complaining about isn't a text string that's being case-mapped.
What happens if you set LC_ALL to en_US.UTF-8, for example? If that doesn't
crash, what about, for example, de_DE.UTF-8?
