As far as I know, the data is always EBCDIC if the packet comes from an EBCDIC
host, or ASCII if it comes from a ASCII host. The sender sends in its local
codepage, the receiver has to translate it. I do not know the DRDA protocol in
that depth, but I am pretty sure that they exchange the codepages they use
during initial handshaking. I also do not know exactly which fields would be
affected by the codepage, but I assume all of the fields that contain textual
data.

If I would see all text fields they way you pasted it, it would be 100% perfect
for me.
