I just checked in a change which _may_ fix this. Could you try a buildbot
build:
http://www.wireshark.org/download/automated/
with an SVN version > 23168 and let us know how it goes?
If it works there are several other places that fopen() needs to be changed to
eth_fopen(). (And README.developer should probably be updated too.)
