10.5.6.1 Access Point Name
The purpose of the access point name information element is to identify the
packet data network to which the GPRS user wishes to connect and to notify the
access point of the packet data network that wishes to connect to the MS.
The Access Point Name is a label or a full qualified domain name according to
DNS naming conventions (see 3GPP TS 23.003 [10]).
The access point name is a type 4 information element with a minimum length of
3 octets and a maximum length of 102 octets.
The access point name information element is coded as shown in figure
10.5.134/3GPP TS 24.008 and table 10.5.152/3GPP TS 24.008.
