If you want us to go back to the name Ethereal, you will have to ask the people
at Network Integration Services, Inc.:

to give Gerald Combs the rights to the "Ethereal" trademark and to give up the
domain name to him. You will then have to convince Gerald and all the rest of
us to go through the pain of a name change once again. Good luck. (I suspect
you won't be able to get Network Integration Services to give up the name -
Gerald already tried. I.e., we *already* tried to keep the name "Ethereal",
and failed. Really, we would have preferred not to go through the pain of the
name change, but we *couldn't*. Sorry, but sometimes the world doesn't let you
have what you want.)
