Thanks, I was able to reproduce this bug with those two captures. The trick
was to make sure the second file opened was longer than the window so the
scroll bar had to be used and then the blank space would show up.
I discovered that the first part of the patch on bug #220 (to main.c) also
fixes this problem. That patch has been committed as revision 19888. Please
download an automated build that has 19888 or higher in the filename from
http://www.wireshark.org/download/automated/win32/, verify that this bug is
fixed and let us know. Thanks for your bug report.
