Summary: Wireshark allocates space to the 'Packet List Window'
according to the space requirement of the last opened

Wireshark allocates space to the 'Packet List Window' according to the space
requirement of the last opened capture file.

Thus, after opening and closing a capture file with 200 packets, if one opens a
capture file with 20 packets, the 'Packet List Window' allocates vertical space
for 200 packets instead of space enough to display 20 packets. This results in
a lot of whitespace beneath the last packet. The vertical scroll bar allows the
user to scroll down into this whitespace area.
