The versions of Bugzilla on this site as well as the old Ethereal site are
supposed to have an email munging feature
(http://www.bugzilla.org/features/#eam), but I haven't found much documentation
about it.  

It looks like the munging involves replacing characters with their equivalent
numeric entities, e.g. printing '@' instead of '@'.  I tried modifying our
local installation to replace '@' with '[AT]' instead, but that broke the
software.  

The new version of Bugzilla lets you change your email address, BTW.
