Wireshark-bugs: [Wireshark-bugs] [Bug 1013] New: Patch that adds --display to wireshark command

Date: Sat, 22 Jul 2006 00:36:53 +0000 (GMT)
http://bugs.wireshark.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1013

Summary: Patch that adds --display to wireshark command line help
           Product: Wireshark
           Version: SVN
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: FreeBSD
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Enhancement
          Priority: Low
         Component: Wireshark
        AssignedTo: wireshark-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
        ReportedBy: stephentfisher@xxxxxxxxx

This patch adds the --display X11 option to the wireshark command line help
when not compiled for Unix (#ifndef _WIN32). GTK already handles this option
for us, so the patch simply tells the user it is available:

Miscellaneous:
-h display this help and exit
-v display version info and exit
-o <name>:<value> ... override preference or recent setting
  --display=DISPLAY X display to use
