Wireshark-bugs: [Wireshark-bugs] [Bug 996] New: All RTP streams shown but cannot be analyzed

Date: Wed, 12 Jul 2006 09:26:20 +0000 (GMT)
http://bugs.wireshark.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=996

Summary: All RTP streams shown but cannot be analyzed
           Product: Wireshark
           Version: SVN
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: Low
         Component: Wireshark
        AssignedTo: wireshark-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
        ReportedBy: jaap.keuter@xxxxxxxxx

When a capture has RTP packets in it these can be found via Statistics|RTP|Show
all streams. The button analyze show stream details. All this is oke.
When applying the display filter "!rtp" the menu option Statistics|RTP|Show all
streams shows all RTP streams, even though they are not visible. The button
analyze shows no stream details, as if the stream doesn't exist.
This mixing of views on the packet list is confusing. Either the menu option
should not show any streams, or the analyze button should show the packets.
