Ronnie already answered you question.  But when you analyze lot of traffic, relative seq numbers can come in handy.  It's easier to keep track of 500, 650, 795 then 23451634534, 23451635534, 23451635934  etc.

But as of now, the relative seq numbering doesn't work within TCP analysis section (for things like SACK etc.)
