Wireshark · Ethereal-users: [Ethereal-users] captured interface

Hi, everybody =)

I am a new user of Ethereal. 

While trying to capture the network packets using Tethereal, after
typing the command, C:/Program Files\Ethereal > tethereal  -V –x ,
the captured interface by default is :
Generic NdisWan adapter: \Device\NPF_GenericNdisWanAdapter , which is
not the interface I wanted to capture.

I tried it on Ethereal and there are two options for interface where I
can choose the one I needed: 3Com EtherLink PCI:
\Device\NPF_{FFFA31EB-DB17-4613-8B9D-D1AEB0B709B8}.

How can I choose the same interface when using the tethereal command window?
