I suppose the truly ambitious could add code to turn the RFC 2833 codes into the relevant tones and insert properly-encoded synthesized waveforms for those tones. (I'm not that ambitious, however. :-))

Ring tones, and other signals that don't have particular tones associated with them by RFC 2833, would have to have some arbitrary sound associated with them. (For the ring tone, I'd vote for the opening notes of "Romanchisto", but that's just me....)
