I am attempting to merge 24 - tcpdump captures on an openbsd box 
that have been copied to an xp pro box and the only message I am
getting is "no valid input files". The size of the files ranges from
7MB to 86MB. I am in the capture directory and run mergecap through
c:\path to mergecap and I have also copied several files into the 
mergecap directory with the same results. All the docs I find point 
the same process. I am going to install ethereal on the obsd box
to try but I would like to get the xp box stuff right to coincide with
the setup at several client sites.

The XP box is pro SP2 ethereal 10.6

I have never used mergecap before so this is a new one on me.
