Hello,
I'm trying to get a Debian Linux box running tethereal 0.9.4 to capture
in 24 hour blocks; though I'm not having much success.
I've set up a script that starts tethereal with the proper filters and
writes to a file with the date in the file name. It also has the -a
duration:86400 (which by my calculations should capture for 24 hours).
I've then placed this in my crontab to start at midnight everyday. My
thought was that this should start a capture at midnight that runs for 24
hours, and repeat this daily. It's only been running for roughly three
days, but none of my captures have lasted a full 24 hour period.
Anyone have any suggestions to better implement this?

Thanks,
 Scott
