Well, is there anyway to do it with tethereal? I need to run a capture
looking for all packets from a specific IP address. When I look at the
help for tethereal it says you can save it as an Ethereal file, but I
can't get it to work. I also can't figure out the syntax for capturing
only packets from a single host. So here are my questions:
-What is the syntax for tethereal capturing packets from a single host
and storing in a file(preferably to open up in ethereal on another
system)?
for example: #tethereal -F Ethereal -w /capture -f host==10.96.5.91
-Will I get as much information as I would if I ran it from the Ethereal
GUI?
