Not as far as I know.  I've checked in (untested) support for FT_FLOAT
(and, of course, FT_DOUBLE as well).

The length must, obviously, be 4 for FT_FLOAT and 8 for FT_DOUBLE, and
they assume an IEEE single-precision or double-precision value in the
specified byte order.
