I had tried editing the file under ~/.ethereal/ as suggested,
but didn't find the expected troublesome filter definitions.

However, after receiving a "this should be fixed in 0.10.5"
message, I was looking for new Mandrake packages (to fix
something else) and noticed fresh new packages for 0.10.5,
just available yesterday. That fixed it!
