Ethereal-dev: [Ethereal-dev] how to produce the pdml file?

Now I can use the command"tethereal -T pdml -r filename" to show the captured file
with the format of xml.But I can't get the xml file because it doesn't produce the
xml file.Is there any command to produce the pdml file?please give to some
directions.
