But it doesn't crash if you save the file with an all-ASCII name?

That might be an Ethereal bug, or it might be a GTK+ bug.  Does the file
with the Chinese name get created and do the packets get written to it?

What does the command "ethereal -v" print?

Also, does your domain name "freebsdchina.org" mean that you're running
on FreeBSD?  If so, if Ethereal crashes there might be an
"ethereal.core" core dump file; could you use GDB to get a stack trace
of the crash?
