Wireshark-users: [Wireshark-users] Wireshark.exe v.1.2.6 crashes at start

To all who may concern,

Just installed Wireshark Portable v.1.2.6 and at its first run I'm
getting crash:
AppName: Wireshark.exe, AppVer: 1.2.6.31702, ModName: lua5.1.dll
ModVer: 5.1.4.0, Offset: 0000c572

I've tried it (many times) on two WXP computers (SP3 Home and SP2 Pro)
and in both cases it crashes at start.
It looks like there is no way to start Wireshark at all...
