We are using TAP but those are
passive tap ( only mirrors on optic fibers link - Netoptics TAP) so why would
they strip something. The other thing is if I
understand Wireshark is doing delta calculation for jitter infos right ? Regards. ============================================================ >First - Question – If you
were using a SPAN port or some of the new filter TAPs for access than there
will be no jitter..the >switch or chipset in the Filter TAP grooms everything.
Thus no jitter, no bad frames…etc. Tim O’Neill - The “Oldcommguy™” B.T. Solutions, Inc. Phone – 770-640-0809 Cell – 404-803-0251 Website - www.lovemytool.com e-mail – Tim@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx BTSolutionsincinfo@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Please honor and support our Troops, Law Enforcement and First

[mailto:wireshark-users-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of andre.noel@xxxxxxx Hi, I captured an RTP stream from Microsoft Office
Communicator and I<m not able to see any jitter from Wireshark. The dissectors are not
detecting the RTP so I have to do a “Decode As… RTP” then it sees PT=DynamicRTP-Type-114
but when I do “Analyze” for the stream there is no jitter nor
deltas etc. We are unable to graph any of the above mentioned RTP
streams info. Any idea ? Regards. ============================================================ |
