Wireshark-users: [Wireshark-users] How to see through the PLCP header

Hi folks,

I want to know if I can capture the PLCP header using wireshark. If yes then what's the set up I am suppose to use. I am not using AirPcap. Also what are the ways one can differentiate between different versions of 802.11 from the packets captured using wireshark in monitor mode.
