Wireshark · Wireshark-users: [Wireshark-users] Can't capture self-to-self packets?

Hi,

I am developing a SMTP based program.

I construct both the client SMTP server
and POP3 server  on my PC so all the SMTP messages and POP3 messages
 are sent from and to the same PC.
The problem is that when I try to capture
the SMTP message with Wireshark, I failed. Nothing is captured.
Is it because the client and the server
being in the same PC?
I have not any other PC so I have to
do it on the one.

Any help or suggestion would be appreciated.
