Wireshark-users: [Wireshark-users] Solaris version fails to run

I am attempting to install and run Wireshark on a Solaris 10 11/06 system

and after installation of all of the required packages, the application fails with:

 

# ./wireshark

ld.so.1: wireshark: fatal: relocation error: file /usr/local/lib/libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0: symbol g_hash_table_ref: referenced symbol not found

Killed

 

Any thoughts on why this is occurring?
