Wireshark-dev: Re: [Wireshark-dev] tshark-1.0.2 (dumpcap) signal abort core saved, see the stac

Hi,

Bug report is oke. It would be really interesting to know why the USR1 signal comes in as well as INT. I'm not familiar enough with the specifics of Tshark-dumpcap communications to know what's going on here. The bug report should help others understand and evaluate your patch.

Thanx,
Jaap

Hi,
Thanks, for the information. What I see on looking at stack trace, for some reason, tshark is calling signal-handler twice.
Once, with frame #5 and once with frame #14.
I had created a bug #2767, along with a fix that avoids the second call to signal-handler.
If someone can take a look on that. Fix has been kept in state to-review?
Thanks,
Moheed

    Hi,

From the looks of it glib runs into trouble, but not obvious why. I
    think you
should file a complete bugreport at https://bugs.wireshark.org

    out all info requested.

    Thanx,
