I think this was in response to the recent "buildbot tests failing" thread.

tshark is currently broken - my fault - but pretending all is well while we know that it's boken is a *very bad way* of handling things.

I'd agree with this wholeheartedly.

+1 for backing out this change and let the tests show the breakage.

It would be nice if the tests didn't bail out as soon as there was a problem, but that's a minor point.
