This used to be a problem for me with Sniffer files provided by one of our customers. Sometime last year (2006) I grabbed a newer version of Ethereal and the timestamps showed up correctly. Unfortunately, I don't remember exactly when it was fixed but I believe that it is fixed.

Does anyone remember this problem being fixed?  When I open the capture
files the bug reporter provided, the timestamps are correct.  I can also
verify that timestamps are correct when I save my own file from Sniffer
and open it in Wireshark.  I'll close those two bug reports unless
anyone has any objections.
