Any thoughts on this problem and (potential) patch?

Hi list,

Important point made here: Focus on fixing bugs before a branch. So hold
on to the new stuff, work on bugs, stability and security please.

Thanx,
Jaap

I was hoping to create the 0.99.2 branch today, but that probably won't
happen. A sizeable list of bugs just came in (see my previous message),
and Buildbot is still generating fuzz errors. The branch will have to
wait until those get fixed at least.

I'll make sure the final Windows installer either has Net-SNMP 5.3.1 or
patches applied to 5.3.0.1.

BTW, should the PortAudio library be added to the Windows installer as well?

I just updated Net-SNMP in the wireshark-win32-libs repository to
version 5.3.0.1 for the upcoming release. Running "nmake -f
makefile.nmake setup" should pull it down.
When are you likely going to freeze for the upcoming Wireshark release?
Please note that a new net-snmp version is currently in
release-candidate stage. net-snmp 5.3.1.rc3 is expected to be released
later today and 5.3.1 (final) is expected to be published end of next
week (see http://www.net-snmp.org/dev/schedule.html). I'd suggest to
upgrade.

If you're going to stay with 5.3.0.1 anyway, please at least apply the
official patches from http://www.net-snmp.org/official_patches .
