(Updated the Summary to be a bit more descriptive of what I *think* is the
problem here; please correct it if I'm wrong.)
Did you, perchance, have a space in the filter bar? I entered just a space as
a display filter and the box turned green because apparently that's a valid
display filter (if a meaningless one).
I don't know about the drop-down box being colored green, too, though.
