Marking this bug as resolved because the remaining preferences can't be
accomodated by the current preferences API.

Capture preferences - The interface selection doesn't quite fit into the UAT
format (as currently written). Seems like you'd been putting a round peg into
a square hole. (and I think the current round peg looks pretty good)

Filter expressions - More UAT friendly, but the current dialog has a nice drag
and drop feature that the UAT dialog doesn't support.

User Interface - Too many specific controls that wouldn't have a generic form
in the preference API.

Overall, I didn't think it was worth it to try to "mix and match"
items/controls that a preference API could handle with items/controls that were
very category specific.

This enhancement came out of looking for solutions to bug 3239, and that part
has been achieved. If someone wants to take the solution further, feel free to
reopen the bug.
