Thanks for your help on this one. Am I supposed to close this bug or should
the reviewer do so?
With the current default parameters, the VS cl compiler appears to be far more
lenient for x86 than x86_amd64 builds; and the Linux compiler is far stricter
than VS cl. I tried changing cl's /W3 option to /W4 but this caused so many
warnings in other routines that it quit before it ever reached tap-iostat.c.
I'm open to any suggestions you might have for fully vetting future patches
before they are submitted. Thanks.
