I have an own plugin which shall dissect USB packets, which are contained
within a UDP packet.
So I tried to find the USB dissector with find_dissector("usb"), but found out,
that the USB dissector doesn't register itself.

So I created a patch for packet-usb.c which calls the register_dissector method
for the USB dissector.

The call to this method was removed in Revision 20632 without a comment why it
had been removed.

Greetings,
Daniel
